Land Art
I step into the landscape with consciousness, aiming to be grounded, to breathe evenly and deeply and to be present with all that is around and within me. In this way there is a synthesis between my own inner state and the land that I am standing in, the climate and the general energy or feel of a place.
And maybe, from this point, a spark arises. I catch it in my hands, and create some transient feature in the land, or maybe it doesn't and I enjoy a walk!
Chris Drury (land artist) says it is the process that is significant, not the outcome.
